What is the maximum power can you supply to a EQ6 PRO mount without doing any damage

Not sure about EQ6, but recommended voltage for AZ-EQ6 is 11-16V and current up to 4A. Originally I used to power my AZEQ6 with 12V, and when started using a stronger power supply rated at 20A and at 13.6V the mount seemed happier - it seemed to behave more lively when fed with a higher voltage.
I suspect 11-16V also will be suitable for EQ6.
EDIT: Just found on Skywatcher website power req. for EQ6: Power Supply: 11 to 15 V DC 2Amp (Tip positive)

11-16V according to the manuals...
16V is a 5V or 45% increase on 11V - and yes the performance of the motors will be significantly snappier.

I've been using a 140W voltage convertor - 12V to 15V for both my HEQ5 and NEQ6 mounts for the past ten years. No issues, no drama.
(The motors I believe still only get the 12V they need - there's no evidence of " ... the performance of the motors will be significantly snappier")

G'Day All
Thanks for the info on power supply's for my EQ6Pro mount .I have been using a car/laptop power supply where you set the voltage you want (15v) , I was going to change it out with a power supply that has the voltage set at 18/20 v I think that may be to high for the mount so I will leave everything as they are .I have notice ,sense I have been using the power supply the mount has been running better .
Again Thanks all Ian
