The relatively large range of telescopes outside and inside of the new observatory operated by enthusiastic members may be of interest to many of us on IIS. See general-public info below, for Vic.
Fri 6th Jan was attended by 140 from the public, some brought their new telescopes to get help with setting up. Quite a few DIYers, astrophotographers and seasoned observers were helping and one member demonstrated spectroscopy. Next to the Outdoor Ed Camp at the Briars, Mt Martha. 8 pm Fridays Jan 6, 13, 20 of 2017 and every 1st Friday of each month. Group bookings also available on- or off-site.
