Had a chat to two young teenagers who parked their death defying machine outside my local bunnings. Got to admire the fearlessness of youth. Note the packing tape holding seat and board together.

Reminds me of some of the dangerous things I did for fun as a child. Most stupid was probably raiding dads amateur rifelry gunpowder and building a mortar from tennis ball tins for a tube, shotgun cartridge for explosive propulsion and aforementioned gunpowder for explosive warhead. Used a nail as a firing pin for the shotgun cartridge. Didn't work well but at least I still have all my body parts.

Oh well. At least these kids used a helmet!

Isn't that a finderscope dovetail on the front?

Methinks its a GoPro bracket.

Even better would be to mod one of the recent kids scooters that are steerable simply by tilting the base - the bigger wheels and wider wheelbase would give a better ride ! No brake though ...

Awesome down a steep lonely bitumen paved hill with safety ramp...

At least their centre of gravity is low, so quite safe :D

One of those right outside my front door. It's tempting as our boy has two scooters - and I have a plastic tractor seat somewhere :)

Ahhh yes...Killara grew up around that area. Be brave...but are you thinking both scooters under the seat for 4WD or just one for two wheel drive..? Wheel alignment may not really be important when you're trusting to the force my young padawan...
