80 x 120 sec exposures with FLT 110 and Canon 1100D.
Fair bit of gradient due to heavy light pollution from inner burbs of Melbourne.
I had to keep the sub short due to the summer heat.
Anyway, first post in the Deep Sky section (I decided to promote myself from the Beginner section ;))
Comments welcome

Nice one Bo. The Canon DSLR has performed well. I think you have met the challenges of light pollution and summer heat quite well.

Nice image Bo. Now if that Canon had a cold finger installed you would not have to worry about the heat....
Check out Rowland's recent publication of a cold finger primer.

A really nice and quite natural result Bo, well done, especially from light polluted skies!

That looks really good Bo. Particularly impressive given that it was done under light-polluted skies.

Thanks Jeelan.
Just, had to play with ISO and exposure times to balance exposure and noise. Ended up with 1600 at 120 secs.
Funny you say that Glen, I just picked up a 1200D and have chatted to Rowland to get some assistance to make it a full spectrum cold finger mod. Stay tuned...
Cheers Mike. Love my FLT 110.
Thank you!
I used CLS CCD clip on filter, very impressed with its performance.
Thanks Kev. :)

A bit noisy but it doesn't really detract from the image. A great result!
