I daresay that littlie's quite disappointed with the view

Unless he's got a thing about pyrex.

And good to see the scope being steered around by the eyepiece holder

I dont know, looking into a newt. mirror reflection might provide lots of fun for a youngster, assuming that scope even has a mirror that is facing the right way LOL

Hmm, an astrological telescope eh…..perhaps that's why he's looking through the front end.....

Sigh

ooh... what's this? An "eyepiece" you call it? Still looks pretty dark though!

I've seen a National Geographic store sales person trying to sell a telescope to a young family explaining how to use it, with it set up upside down and looking through it the wrong way, like example A that Mike posted.

I cringed and thought it was beyond help.

Since then I've lost count the number of times I've seen them setup upside down in National Geographic and DSE.

Roger.

What's wrong with the photo. You're suppose to look in the front aren't you? That's where the light goes in. :)

Here's a pic of my Grandson Kaleb. He has is worked out. No EP, but he knows where to look in a refractor. He kept saying he could see the Aliens :screwy:

Hmmm, I'll have to see where he looks in my dob
