Unsung heroine I am afraid... We dont recognise the pioneering efforts of female astronomers well. I was pleased to see the new "Cosmos" made an attempt to rectify this failure.

RIP Vera Rubin

Sadly, media didn't cover nearly as much news of her passing as much as for Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher :(

Well.. both were stars.. only Carrie's audience was much, much larger :shrug:...
