Another session of very good conditions produced some of my best images for this apparition
Hi Phil, wow, :eyepop: those are just awesome, i wish i could have produced something even close to them all those years ago.

Nice pics Phil. Is Jupiter close to the moon? I am guessing you took the pics in the early hours of the morning. As I don't have a telescope, could I get some half decent pics using a canon 7D mk ii, with a 400 lens with a 1x4 converter ?
Cheers Reverend.
yep early morning for a while yet, doubt you would get any detail as Jupiter is very small even though it's the biggest planet to capture.
Ridiculous level of details on the planet, very well done!

Excellent images Phil:thumbsup:
Thanks for your generous remarks, I have spent the last few weeks trying to match the processing skills of the best planetary imagers, Wesley, Peach, Go, Olivetti, etc and have had plenty of advice from them especially AW so I'm pleased with progress although some ways to go yet.
