Hi there, just over 10hrs of data used on this one (LRGB). Took about 5 weeks because of limited clear skies during the last two months. Thanks to processing advice from thread the other day I have improved the image I think.
Cheers

Brave man. A tough target, its a very dim galaxy and well presented. A bit of splotchy colour noise could be corrected further but the galaxy itself is well presented.

Looks pretty good, Brett. 10 hours isn't a lot for a dim target like this at small image scale. As Greg suggested, desaturating the background would be an improvement. Try a RangeSelection mask and CurvesTransformation.
Cheers,
Rick.

Well done. The galaxy has a very low surface brightness.
We remember our first attempt from outer suburban Leonay - just a red smudge on an orange background.

Thanks for the feedback and tips everyone. I might gather more data in the future for this one. My processing skills are probably not up to adequately displaying more difficult targets like this even though I might be able to get reasonable data for them.
Cheers

That's a fine image Brett! I've added it to my target list for next year.
