I've done that in the past on my mount but that was purely to shut the car up! My mount registered as someone sitting in the front passenger seat :lol:

Many years ago when I had a big heavy mount for my 12" it did concern me considerably that in any sort of mishap that I had a bunch of hefty missiles behind.

Since downsizing yes I do strap the hefty bits down with the seat belts.
