I took this during the last new moon at Toolangi State Forest. An 8 image pano, 20sec, ISO 1600, f4, Sigma 24-105mm @ 24mm, Canon 6D. I am pretty happy with the composition having Crux low in the trees and a sneaky Pleiades almost hidden at the other end. I think I should have gone for ISO 3200 being an f4 lens though.
Cheers.

Beautiful, moody atmosphere. Very nice. Reminds me of the problem I have in my back yard with the neighbours trees.

Thanks guys,
Usually I try both Microsoft Image Composite Editor, and Photoshop. In the past I've found that Photoshop blends colours really well, but Microsoft ICE does a better job at stitching.
Photoshop's stitching was pretty good with this one, so I ran with that and cloned out some wonky bits near Orion, then punched up brightness, levels and curves.
