Hi Guys,
My 24" LCD turned up today with a native rez of 1900 x 1200.
What a beauty she is.
Does anyone know of any sites you can get some high rez wallpaper image's.
eventualy I would like to put my own on but that wont be for a while yet.
I currently have this one but would like something different.

Try the NASA site, there are some amazing space station images (http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/images/station/assembly/ndxpage1.html)that will have more resolution than your new monitor can handle.

Tony - you might try Digital Blasphemy's website. It's dedicated to high resolution wallpaper that comes from pretty imaginative individuals. All wallpapers are available in 1900x1200 and at that are around 640kb in size, so nothing too big to fill your video buffers. It's not all astronomical in nature, as such, but very nice anyway.

Careful with the size of the file you put on there. Last year I had some trouble with Windoze starting up very slowly (around 5 minutes from turning on until it was ready to do anything.) When I changed my wallpaper from a beautiful hi-res picture it dropped back down to about 30 seconds. Changed it back and she slowed up again.
Of course I didn't realise until afterwards that the file was over 100MB:ashamed:

Thanks Andrew & Chris,
Thats exactly what I am after.
Some real quality in these pics.
I will be keeping my wallpaper under 1mb, my computer wont even notice the difference but yes 100mb will kill any computer.
thanks guys.
