Good to see so many new pics here! Finally the weather is better for most of us.

This is my largest integration ever, a whole 15.75 hours. Details in the Flickr link below. No RGB stars of flats used. A big leap for moi, needing to plate solve or re-compose each night and not move the rotator until the project is complete!

I am finding the whole NB aspect very challenging yet rewarding, so many possibilities and approaches. I started off trying the JP method but mustnt of controlled the noise enough, the resultant image was awful. Then i tried some different noise removal methods, still no pleasing result.

In the end i returned to my normal careful noise removal via PI and kept things very subtle. Once i was happy with the PI NB combination, i then went to town in PS. Believe it or not, this is quite toned down compared to some of the versions i almost published.

All the ha subs were only 5 mins, shortly after i worked out that 10 min nb subs at 75 gain was the sweetspot for me. So the OIII and SII subs were at 10 min. 15 is not worth it with this cam, ampglow and sky background start to kick in.

I may have a bit of tilt, as the top right stars arent perfect, but only the pixel peepers will notice. A battle for another day...

This is exactly the feel i was looking for, a place of violence and drama. If i get time i may revisit, but right now i still have 4 other large data collections to go thru!

Great picture Simon. The 17.5 hours really shows through in the quality.
You've captured the violence and drama very well. That was also my thought before I read your comments.
If you have the patience for some more, perhaps you could consider a mosaic to extend the bottom bit.

I found that I had to do 30 looooong narrowband hours on this target to get close to what I was hoping to achieve.

It sometimes helps to leave the data for a few days before again experimenting with the data and colours :)

Thanks Rick, yes angry is a good word. 'mega data'??? Hmm, I think that label is a little premature, wait till I'm routinely hitting the 40's, ok?

Very nice! I'm intrigued by the red cabbage (or rose perhaps) with the yellow centre about 2/3 of the way from the Tarantula to top left. Would love to know if it has a name.
