Any spare lubriplate no 105

Are there any paramount owners that have any spare lubriplate no 105 vehicle assembly grease? I have to change over work blocks to try and fix my mount and I want to go with the recommended grease. Even though any other grease will work fine, I want to eliminate any doubt that may raise. Happy to buy off anyone and pay shipping.

I can understand your concerns, but I'm not necessarily sure that the recommended grease for US users is the best grease for Australian users in any case.

Our conditions are so much hotter on average, and rarely if ever as cold - so ideally a heavier grease is more suitable for our conditions, so it simply doesnt all melt and run out !

That particular lubriplate 105 also seems to have additives that probably have no great value in something as slow moving as a telescope.

I'd be pretty sure that there are equivalent greases available from the likes of Castrol - eg Castrol HD Lithium from a quick look at a crossover list - I had to cross over twice to get there, but there is nothing that specialised about this application.

In fact the the thing that is most specialised would be the storage temperatures exceeding 60C and rarely going below zero which is not what SB probably considered.

Why not ask them - they've been down this path many times before

Yeah fair enough, i used a different grease last time, i just wanted to be sure that i eliminate any possible issues. TBH, i think the grease i have is fine, it is extremely high quality
