I originally wanted to image the relection nebula NGC1990 but it surrounds Alnilam so this has been reframed to make processing just a little bit easier.

The area above the middle star (Alnilam) in the Orion Belt has with some interesting refection cloud and cometary globules (IC423, off to the right))
Alnilam is just out of shot at the bottom but the blue nebula area that surrounds it ( NGC1990) is just visible)
Link to a pretty good paper here. http://www.publish.csiro.au/AS/pdf/AS98091

That's great David, such an intriguing area, it's a real Mr Squiggle area lots of bits and pieces. I like that little ghost globule IC 423. This is a field I look forward to hitting with a wide field setup some day
