From January this year, finally did something with the data...

Slight risk I overdid the star shrink but seems relatively OK otherwise.
Only Luminance was shot at the time.

Roger.

That's a cool looking galaxy Roger.
I honestly don't know how anyone gets sky time to shoot LRGB.

A lot of detail in both those galaxies Roger, looks really good, just need some colour added now.
P.S. Did you get the noise issue fixed on your ST10?

yes, it's hard to find the time and spend the time doing LRGB. The processing time as much as anything for me. LRGB from my setup seems to require lots of post-processing to try and balance.
Thanks :)
It's very rare that adding RGB to one of my L images makesit look better  so we'll see :) Normally just hides the nice galaxy detail visible in the L.
The "rain noise" seems to have been solved by a new power supply for the camera. But there's other horizontal and vertical banding and noise that's not normal. It's likely we're going to send two back to SBIG for investigation/repair, that and one where the cooler has partly failed. :(
