I have had a go at Jupiter with a LPI and a goto mount but getting it with a dob 12inch with a 3x barlow (I think it was at that time) was fun but not very productive. I submit it on the basis of it being the first and something to improve upon.
Have had some unbelievable nights here. clear clean and fantastic views. Thats why I sortta overlooked fotos there was too much to see. alex

Alexander there is plenty of room for improvement here, and the good news is that you are on the right track. To start with you need to focus your shot better. Start by making a hartman mask put it on your scope and focus on a star. The mask will produce three stars if the shot is out of focus. Adjust your focus until there is only one star on the screen.

Now you are ready to start adjustment of your camera (lpi). Swing back onto Jupiter and hit the auto adjust shot. I think that when I was using the lpi I used a exposure of .377 sec. You might like to experiment with this though. Hit save all your images and put jupiter as target. drop gain to 89 and the slider below it to 49.

You have made a good start and I hope that this helps you improve.
