My Nikon D3100 DSLR (14mp) is now retired as I'm stepping up in imaging. If anyone wants a cheap digital SLR for modding or perfect for part $120 including postage Australia wide. It comes with the stock 18-55mm zoom lens, UV lens filter, generic battery and charger. The only issue with it is it has a stretched mirror spring. On medium to fast shutter speeds you will get a shadow from the mirror in the top of images, a common fault over time with the older Nikons. I've been using it for long exposure star field shots for stacking, star trails and recently meteor hunting. Have had some success with lunar using adjustable polarising filters to limit the brightness with slower shutter speeds. It also has a few marks on the live view screen but not noticeable when it's on (pics don't show the marks). PM me for details.
