NGC 1763 and many surrounding objects in this LMC wide field image. Image consists of 25 x 300s Ha, and 20 x 300s Sii shot at -25C. Taken last night as we approach the Supermoon. Camera is the ASI1600MM-C. Scope is the TS Photoline 115mm f7 APO (reduced to F5.5 for this image).

Note more data will be acquired (like Oiii) when the Moon and weather permit. Will Repo then and revise the Astrobin image.

A gorgeous image there Glen. These ASI and medium aperture APOs are making a very nice setp. Ha and Sii is an unusual combination but it works here.

Looks nice Glen, different in Ha & SII bicolour but it does seem to work quite well. I have found many of the LMC regions lacking in SII.

Well done, Glen. We like your framing with the very pretty globular cluster in there. And you've shown that there's SII about. Good work.

good work Glen - interesting colour and the globular cluster makes a great counterpoint to the main nebula
