I think I've blown the 12VDC power fuse on my LX200 GPS 10" but can't find the fuse. Does anyone know where it's located on the m/board and what Amp should I use this time?
Thanks,
Jim

Gday Jim
The LX200 GPS's dont have a fuse ( or reverse polarity protection )
I use a 2.5A slo blo fuse, as the mount never exceeds about 1.2 A at any time ( incl slewing at max on both axes )

Thanks Andy.
Where and how did you place your fuse onto the board?
So if I have blown something, what could it be. A capacitor? IC chip? Diode? Maybe I should ask Don at Bintel?
Thanks,
Jim

Gday Jim
I have my fuse in the power cable going to the mount.
Re whats damaged, no idea. If you are happy to take stuff apart and work logically through it, you can most times isolate it, but Don will do it quicker :-)
