QHY9M and filter wheel

My QHY9 M has been sitting idle for a little while so i thought it would be put up for sale. it was purchased new just over 12 months ago but hasn't really seen too much action so it is in like new condition. comes with the 5 position 36mm filterwheel which all hooks together really nicely (actually better than my FLI does) there are no faulty columns or any hot regions, a pretty clean sensor. it just came back from Theo (gama electronics) from a service. Given its condition and age, i would be looking for $1,800 ono, that is 66% of the new price. sounds like a good Christmas present.

p.s. ignore the photobombing cat :) the darks image was a single 2 min sub stretched to try and show some of the hot pixels

price drop to $1800. it is a good step up from DSLR imaging and into cooled mono imaging. I am moving house soon and would love not to have to pack it.

Hi Rowan, I have already turned down a 1400 offer so I wouldn't take 1000. I don't think I am being unreasonable and am happy to wait for a better offer.

no, unfortunately i have sold my filters already. the LRGB filters can be bought new from bintel for $549. or occasionally they come up in the classifieds
