Yes i know what you are saying, but i am lucky to have his Coffee Table Book, called The Invisable Universe, plus his earlier book View of The Universe, both personally signed by him, and they are very special to me.

He definitely does some great work. I met him at the launch of the CWAS Astrofest David Malin awards roadshow at Sydney Observatory a few months ago.

He's the keynote speaker at IIASC2007 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/iisac) in January, and a selection of signed David Malin prints (on real photographic paper, not just copies) will be given away as lucky door prizes.
