I recently got a Fuji XT2 camera and 16-55 F2.8 lens.

I took a 9 image panorama last night using a Panorama head for the first time on a Vixen Polarie. A bit awkward but it worked well.

Looks really nice Greg  Would look good hanging on a wall me thinks.
What's your thoughts on the XT2? Quite a number of people with the XT1 in my photography club, some of which are thinking of moving upwards.

That 16-55mm, is that the stock lens? Appears to work quite well at F/2.8.

Thanks Joe. Yes I am happy with it. I am always working out ways to improve them though.

XT2 is a fabulous camera. I have had several Fujis over the years XE1, X100S, XT1 and now XT2. I had gotten out of the Fuji world to concentrate on Sony as they are the most progressive but Fuji colour and a nice selection of lenses was appealing. The 16-55 is constant F2.8 and is the Fuji equivalent of Canon L glass. A very nice lens overall.

Thank you very much.

Greg.

Looks great, Greg! The Fuji seems like an interesting camera too.

Canberra. Its gotten brighter over the years. It must be you leaving your observatory lights on!

Yes its a great camera. I find Fuji and Sony are the 2 interesting camera makers at this time. Both have their strengths and weaknesses but you would be hard pressed to fault the XT2. Mirrorless are becoming quite mature cameras and their performance can take on the best in DSLR or close to it these days.

I took another one last night using a panoramic head and my full frame Sony A7r2. It was freezing cold after that front went through and very windy. I took 2.5 minute subs which seemed like an eternity standing in the cold!
