We may be witnessing the start of something real big here. This is something (depending on exactly how usable it is) could take off.. maybe as a toy maybe as the gimmick that vocalist have been waiting for. But I would buy one if reasonably priced toy or serious instrument... I can see a world of Musicals just like in the old movies ..imagine everyone in the shopping centre wearing these and spontaneously bursting into "smoke on the water in G"'

Lead guitar for the most part is done using only five notes:eyepop: .. the pentatonic scale (penta meaning five and scale maeaning fishy??:P ).
I love showing a newcomer or complete novice this scale which can be learnt in minutes then play a slow rythem on my guitar(12 bar blues progression of three cords) in the same key, while they pick at learning their scale on their guitar. Well all notes match and the look on their faces as they realise they are playing a crude lead really without meaning to, is something to see. Add to that an acceptance that most if not all riffs come from a mistake that somehow sounded better than what you meant to do:eyepop: you are there..When mastered which does not take long at all you can play the guitar as you would hum a tune..it is really that easy;) .

the whole purpose of air guitaring is that no sounds are made... this is an insult to air guitarists around the world :P
and does it come in both electric and acoustic?
Next year they are putting the backing band into a pair of trousers
cheers

where is the whammy bar located? ;)
would like to see the contortions required for say a real fancy walking chord part/fingertapping ect.
i would maybe rephrase that Alex and say just for fun 'basic' guitar is easy, also advanced serious guitar is also easy except for the natural talent (i.e. an ear), lifetime/three million man hours of practice/playing, with constant upkeep required of acquired skills, and regular seperation from society and loved ones (to do all the practising at least), also *usually* requiring you start music of some sort at a reasonably or very young age, periods of poverty and doubt possibly (i.e. starving artist) thus possibly precipitating bouts of mental illness/depression/madness due to pitfalls and vagaries/variables of the game ect. ect. LOL :scared: :P oh yeah its all just beer and skittles
wow! I think i have surpassed myself this time, now i'm even depressed :D
think we should all just get the suit instead!
