its been forever since ive done any imaging, recently upgraded to a qhy9 and got a reducer/flattener for the fs-102 bringing it back to f/6.6

add a whole bunch of other new bits to play with and software i hadn't used before and it made for an entertaining couple of nights other than the fact i didnt actually end up really imaging anything.
hopefully it all pays off when i get a few clear nights in a row

anyway heres a single uncalibrated 30 second sub of 47 tuc, not a pretty picture but its getting darn close to flat across the full frame
just a bit wonky in the bottom right corner for some reason
also an annoying hot pixel saturating a column

It is nice when things start coming together :) But wonky in both the bottom left and right so I assume that it is just tilt somewhere along the line.
Look forward to seeing the "First Light" :)

found a small amount of slop from the 2" nosepiece on the flattener, everything else seems pretty solid.

the flattener has a rotator built into it (very handy!) so ill have to find a rich star field and do some more testing to find out exactly whats going on.

still pretty impressed with the flattener though
you can see what the curvature was like without it here:

and if i remember correctly the worst of it was cropped out
