Hi

This is my best ever sunspot for resolution and detail, and perhaps worst ever for processing and presentation!

Captured 12th November 2006, 13:52 AEST (GMT+10), Brisbane, Australia. Celestron C9.25, Vixen x2 Barlow, Philips ToUcam 840K, Baader Astrosolar Film 3.8 Density full aperture solar filter, Baader UV/IR cut filter.

24 frames from 1800.

Cheers

Dennis

PS – the horizontal lines may be the Bayer matrix, as I was shooting in mono on a colour camera. Any ideas on how to de-Bayer in Registax?

Wow very sharp and detailed, Dennis! Excellent work.

Dennis try the additional options in R4 on the first "align" page. There are some debayer options in there. You might need to experiment with the various options until you find what fixes it.
