This image taken in Hydrogen alpha, shows a spectacular prominence associated with the movement of the large prominence across the western limb on Sunday morning. Arthur.

Well done Arthur, another really interesting area. You were lucky to have clear sky - been too cloudy where I live. Regards, John W.

Spectacular indeed Arthur!

I have tried to image the sun with a 80mm Lunt and an Atik 314l+ mono CCD. I get nowhere near the resolution you appear to do! I guess you're using a mono camera and using curves?

In any case, please can you direct me to a good image processing guide please Arthur (or anyone else). I only use mono CCD (Atik 314, 414 and DMK). Any help would be very much appreciated!
