Hi Al thank you for your kind comment yes I am quite happy with it I wished I took some flats but ran out of time but it is not bad for short exposures on this object I used 10% gain and cooling was -15 c looking forward to having another crack with this camera thanks again
cheers Pete :thanx:

The galaxy looks fine but the surrounding heart shaped haze is a bit of a distraction.
Is that because of the haze you mention,or some other reason.
Cheers:thumbsup:

hi there Ron
thank you for your comment It is more than likely a result of the lack of flats and maybe the haze this is 2nd version with synthetic flat in Nebulosity 4 it a bit of an improvement
cheers Pete

Certainly looks promising to me Pete  could prolly do with a little less green and a few more subs to calm the noise down, but for less than an hour of data :eyepop:

You can see those "galactic fountain" perpendicular dust streamers very clearly!

I had a go at a bit of re processing just to lighten it up a bit and pull a little more detail .

The latest version looks better, appears to be less clipped which is good :)

thanks Colin
yeh I am still learning with this camera but it is coming together slowly working out exposure settings and gain settings also need better processing software .
I capture with a Panasonic tough book 15" and stack and basic processing on a Mac with Nebulosity 4 I have Light Room installed on the Mac but that is it would love to get a copy of Photo Shop but there is so many variations
cheers Pete

If you want something that is free and kinda similar to PS you can download Gimp. I don't personally have any experience with it but I have heard good things.
