Thanks guys. The blog res tuned out alright. I wasn't too happywith the lobster. Although the colours are there, the seeing on Sunday wasn't up to it. I got another series on the cat paws that's even worse. I'll try to mosaic it in.

Can't believe you're still pulling out targets from AF! I haven't gotten around to final processing of mine yet! Well done!

Very nice Marc.
The Lobster certainly looks to be a fairly challenging object. I was thinking of giving it a go at Astrofest but probably just as well I didn't.

Wide field pays off! Not only is 47 Tucanae beautifully done, but perhaps even more importantly, there are three other globulars in the image!

The thing we like the most about the lobster is the big wriggly dust lane below it that it has left on its travels. Didn't know that was there.

Best,
M & T

Thanks Troy. I'm running out of files now. I think I'm done until next year. :)

Thanks mate. It's a little boring in RGB. Not much else than red at that FL.

Thanks Louie. I always flat field but my sensor had a big black blotch on the lower right corner that I couldn't easily clone out in PS. Too many stars.

Thanks Mike. Might have pushed it a little too hard but it's got some dark lanes yes.

Thanks Mike. That should make for a sweet setup. You'll have a lot of fun with the new rig.

Thanks David. The "green singularity" has reached its due by date. Looking at state funerals soon after 10 years of abuse then get a new one. Probably the same.

Nice work Marc  I particularly like your attempt at NGC104 - very sharp and nice colours too!
