Your area only? What's startling is the lack of information in your post

Telstra and its subs have over time been very frustrating to deal with.
Just over 2 yrs ago I purchased an Apple 5s phone and case. A waterproof case. At the time I was informed that the case has a 2 yr guarantee. Neglecting to specifically inform me its covered by the manufacturer and not the store.

10 mths later the case is deteriorating and falling apart. I was informed by the "Telstra" shop staff that the product is no longer in stock. I walked away.

Almost 2 yrs later before the guarantee expired I was informed that there is a manufacturer's warranty in place. I was assisted at the Telstra store to order a replacement, with the belief this is a warranty replacement.

2 months pass and no case. I inquired at the store. They responded not their problem. They also are only obliged to cover replacement warranties for 12 mths. Again I walked, much angrier.

This week I received a phone call. "Your case has arrived." What? Well suddenly the shop's credibility rose to unexpected heights.

On arriving at the store to make my claim. "That will be $100 sir." What??? You must be joking? The product was unavailable throughout the term of the guarantee and now that the the guarantee has expired by a month the item is suddenly available at my expense. One that will again deteriorate due to inferior materials used.

Make up your own mind ladies and gentlemen of this forum.
Rant over. LOL
