hello members i have had to replace my laptop and i am busy putting all of my astro necessities back on the desktop
i have put back on my nebulosity and phd2.............. how the hell do i get phd2 to recognise my lodestar and my nebulosity to re- recognise my qhy10?

You'll possibly have to download ASCOM (now V6.2) and the associated ASCOM drivers. I know this will be the way with the QHY10, not sure about the Lodestar but likely so.

ah thanks colin, i do not remember having to do that previously though!
do you still use the ascom driver even though i am using the guide port on my g11?

I don't think you can connect to a QHY camera without ASCOM, not unless a version of Nebulosity comes with the supporting driver natively.
