Just making a quick shout out to the guys at Bintel in Sydney. As a country astronomer, I get few chances to pop into a telescope retailer and drool over gear so when I visited Sydney this past weekend I grabbed the chance to go on quick ride on the light rail out to Glebe and pop into the shop. Had a lovely time talking with Mick, Don and John while they answered some silly questions of mine and I had a thoroughly rewarding hour or so. Although they were all very busy, they took the time to make me feel welcome. I did buy some stuff, but the experience was just a lot of fun!!

Yeah, I don't like going to Glebe, because Sydney traffic.

When I do, I too enjoy drooling over what is on display there. I can't say I have ever had a negative experience in dealing with everyone at Bintel - it has always been positive.

Every time I have been there I have felt completely welcome.
