hi to all
Last night I was giving my new OTA 10" truss Newt astro graph a go and just wanted to see how everything was going and was imaging M27 I did 15x 300sec subs with my Sbig STF8300C (colour camera ) and just was doing a basic processing in Nebulosity 4 and when I did a demosaic Raw Colour I noticed there was no colour in the image but you can see the coloured hot pixels .
there are no calibration frames as this was just a quick look see I did use a Pro Star LP filter for the first time due to the moon I wonder if this has something to do with it as I have done nothing different than before except the filter and no cal frames any comments would be greatly appreciated
cheers Pete

Ps I forgot to mention I used 2 x 2 binning

Have you checked the correct debayering pattern?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe that if you bin a OSC you lose colour.

As Colin says, the 2x2 pixels match the Bayer pattern and therefore you end up with just Luminance, i.e. monochrome.
