Orion Sirius EQ-G Mount (SW HEQ5 equivalent)
I am relisting this mount that I had advertised a couple of months ago. A buyer was interested but had to pull out due to unexpected expenses.

I am selling this as I have another heavier mount now and the imaging rig I have put together is too much for this. Purchased in August 2015, it is the Orion badged version of the HEQ5 mount. Functionally the same but is in black.
Some slight differences between this and a new one:
- Comes with a V3 handcontroller. I accidentally destroyed the one that came with the mount and Bintel had this as a replacement. I actually prefer it, it has a more solid feel and has that nice "beep" at the end of a slew.
- Has 2 counterweights. Unlike the HEQ5, Orion only supplies 1 so I purchased another, but as per the photo, could only get a white one.

This has had a bit of use so there are some minor cosmetic marks, but nothing serious. The black counterweight was left out on a damp night once so has a bit of wear and the start of some rust, but hey, it's only a counterweight! If you want a close up I can supply that.

Features of the mount are as follows:
Weight Rating 13.5kg
Head Weight 9.8kg
Tripod Weight 5.6kg
Dovetail Saddle Plate Narrow Vixen Style
Tracking Rates Sidereal, Lunar and Solar
Autoguider Port ST4 compatible
Tripod Legs 1.75" stainless steel
Counterweight Bar 200mm long x 18mm diameter
Tripod Height Range 104 - 140cm

I have all the following that came with the mount:
Original Packing Boxes
Instruction manuals
Short Vixen Dovetail rail (not in photos as it is attached to a scope)
Some Allen keys and a serial cable for connecting the hand controller to a laptop/desktop computer

Price: Now $800 plus postage (was $850)

If anyone in Vic is interested in this mount, I will take it up to Snake Valley at the end of the month and have it available to try out there.
