A Chickens Death Wish

Good Morning.
We have recently purchased two Chickens from a Chicken Farm and have them running around the yard all day long. :)
Anyway a few days ago I was chopping some wood and found a few grubs in the wood which I threw to the Chooks, wow, they didn't take long to get rid of them.
Now when I chop a log or two they come running and literally stand next to the log when I split it, just in case a grub may come out.
And we say Chooks are stupid, or are they, :shrug: haven't they heard of the saying, Egg or Axe. :lol:

I basically grew up on a hobby farm so I have been around chickens my entire life... Chickens are by no means stupid and all have their own personalities. Well, except for the white ones, they are by far the stupidest animal :P Have no idea why but I am yet to find a white chicken with any ounce of intelligence.
