I collected some RGB data on this object over the weekend and have now processed it into the image. I think this looks better than the NB data alone.

I am a fan of RGB stars in narrowband images. This looks great.

I really like this, especially the depth of field around the pillars and the subtle shading of colours in the transitions.

Thanks Colin for the thumbs up. It's appreciated.
Thanks Greg, Yes I think the RGB star and the RGB wash works well with this object.
Thanks Louie, the RGB wash largely created this shift. It also enhanced the reds too which I had to once again tone down as a little.
Thanks Peter. I did not have to do much with the transition of colours. It is just a happy co-incidence of the distribution of gases. I did a little contrast enhancement to the pillars to get some depth of field happening, but it was subtle. An enjoyable image set to work on.

Another fantastic looking image Paul at 12 hours that's very short for you despite that the noise is very reasonable and the colours much different than other NB RGB blends that i have seen but i do like the hues.
I loved the NB rendition (must confess has been living on my desktop in recent weeks :D), and think this one is even a bit more pleasing. Great work Paul.
