Hi Everyone,
I have up for sale my RC10 with upgraded foam core CF tube and 2.5" large format moonlite. The carbon fibre tube made by Klaus Helmerich and has a 5mm foam core which is much stronger and more stable than the stock carbon fibre tube. It is also far superior in that dew does not form on the primary mirror.
It also comes with a Moonlite CSL 2.5" Large Format SCT/RC Focuser with a High-res stepper motor which is once again a fantastic upgrade from the stock focuser supplied by GSO.
I have added the Astrophysics 0.67x telecompressor which makes the scope F5.3 at a focal length of approximately 1340mm.
Finally, it comes with the kendrick circular dew heater fitted to the secondary.
Some pictures I have taken with the scope are attached and it is a great performer especially with targets that require extra focal length. It captures great detail even in very small targets such as NGC346.
If you bought a GSO CF RC10 ($2799), Moonlite focuser with Hi-res focuser ($715), Astrophysics 0.67x telecompressor ($230) and dew heater ($79) it would cost you $3823 + postage and that is only with the standard carbon fibre tube and not the extra strength and stable foam core CF tube on this scope.
It also comes with the original focuser and 1x 50mm spacer and 2x25mm spacers.
Asking Price is $2800 + postage
