Dear members,

I have been using sky sportal with my c925 evolution since I got it 8 months ago. I tried the hand controller several times and then gave up. I would do the 2 star align but it would never slew accurately to the second star. I think it is a time zone problem. I live in Darwin. No daylight saving and +9hrs 30m is the time zone. There is no option for that zone. I enter Darwin, standard time, current date and time, and +9hrs. It confirms successful alignment but then slews to a few degrees off to its targets..... Works ok when I enter UTC.

I'm stumped at what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Sounds the same as for my Gemini2 controller. There are products in our hobby that know nothing about the 1/2 hour time zones and it can be a nuisance at times. It has been suggested to me to try setting the time zone to + 0 and just use UTC and when it stops raining here, I will do just that.

If you set the zone to 9hrs or 10hrs then offset the actual time by 30 minutes it should solve that problem?
