View Full Version here: : Experience with Telegizmos 365
Dear Members,
I'm considering buying one of these. There are many options to suit a lot of setups. I currently have a c925 evolution and a ES102. In the not too distant future I would like to get a SW AZEQ6. Can I just buy the biggest eq version of the 365 and use it for the smaller setups without penalty? I don't want to buy multiple covers understandably.
I like the BBQ cover ideas mentioned (I think a comodo Joe kettle cover fits the bill nicely, but living in Darwin I think they may bake my scope.)
Advice re the 365 or other suggestions welcome
Cheers:)

I have a Telegizmo 365 for a mount I have on my deck. I bought one to suit a 4-5" refractor on a GEM but have had a 8" newt and a 8" SCT under it. At the moment it is just covering the mount. The only problem with a large cover is that you will probably need an extra strap like a bungee to pull in the excess at the bottom, otherwise a good wind gust may lift it off. Mine is over three years old with no sign of wear.

I have a Telegizmo 365 for my 14 inch SCT. I use it as a cover for the scope inside my insulated shed. They are heavy construction and well made. Mine is 12 months old but looks brand new. I would recommend them. From memory I paid $300 delivered for one of their largest covers, but i think it was well worth the cost.

I too have a telegizmo 365 cover and find its very good (mine's for an 8" SCT). I set up and generally leave my scope out for 3-4 days at a time. I particularly like that in the middle of summer I can put my hand under the cover and it's noticeably cooler, and that's on a 40 degree day. I just remove my camera etc. and no longer worry. I definitely wouldn't feel so great about a non-insulated cover.
As others have said, suggest you consider the use of an extra draw string around the base just to prevent any movement should you some wind.
Cheers, Evo
Thanks everybody. I just ordered the 365, sct 11-14 Equatorial.
I just got it today! Perfect fit..... The clouds rolled in 8octa! So the cover can stay on!
