HI folks
I have taken some shots with the takfs60cb and my dslr and the centre is in focus but I have elongated stars at the edges which I assume is because I haven't got the spacing right.
If anyone uses this combo can they take a picture of the set up so I can compare ?
I have wide T mount, wide t adaptor, ext tube, caa, adaptor, OTA I think from memory.
Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham

I have the same setup but with the addition of the flattener. Even if you had the correct spacers you would still need a flattener to resolve the issue I'm afraid.

Hi
thanks for the prompt reply. I have ordered the reducer and this was the set up I had years ago. I can't remember it being as bad as this- does the reducer do some flattening as well?

Hi Graham

Not sure about that I,m afraid. I took a quick look at the AEC site but looks like it's a straight reducer. Was sure Tak had one that did both.
Looking at optcorp there is one there but it's for the FS60c. Not sure if that makes a difference

Good luck with it.
