I managed to revisit M16 the other night and get more exposures. I was aiming for a bi-colour but an unnoticed hiccup with the filter wheel ruined the OIII frames. As it is I am happy with getting the Ha and I will take what I can get  - at least the clouds didn't come to play.

7x 15min Ha (Astronomik 12nm) - lost one due to a bump to the mount
ED80 with 0.85 reducer/flattener
HEQ5 , guided with 60/280 guidescope and ASI120MC-S
CdC, Eqmod, PHD2, APT, DSS, PS

You've got it showing up nicely, looks like either some tracking error or differential flexure (the stars) but it is nice all the same :)
Looking forward to a issueless bi-colour :P

Thanks Colin,

Yes the tracking was a bit of a mess for the evening, I was rather rushed in setup so Polar alignment and balancing was "usable" to put it nicely, so the guiding was fighting quite a bit. But given the rarity of usable evenings this year, and that I only had a window of a few hours I went with it anyway.

Played with the editting and found a "fix" for the star shapes which seems to have worked - of course better to fix in capture rather than post, but .....
