Imaged Saturn July 21st in variable seeing.......good to very good.

Have very nicley resolved the +63 long lived spot (cyclone). The bright clouds immediatly preceding and following the +63 spot are very well defined in R and RGB.

The dark spot in IR that I have previously mentioned which trails the +63 spot is also very well defined. This is now three data points that I have for this (new?) feature. I measure it to be at Lat +59.8 L3 311.8 and it continues to trail the +63 spot by approx 28 degrees. This means that a CM transit of the IR spot will occur approx 1 hour after a CM transit of the +63 spot.

I measure the +63 spot in this data to be at Lat +63.3 L3 283.4 and have added this data point to my spreadsheet and drift chart.

I have now also started a spreadsheet and drift chart for this (new) IR dark spot which is a little further South than the + 63 spot.

Regards
Trevor
