just wondering guys and gals if a Moonlight Stepper Focus motor can be controlled by a HITECASTRO pro mount hub pro?:question:

You mean the hub itself? Not sure. But I drive mine with a Sharpsky via a mount hub pro. The sharpsky controller is compatible with the moonlite. Not sure about the hitecastro port.

I'm driving my Feathertouch with the MountHubPro controller. When I was researching on whether it worked, I was the first HiTecAstro were aware of that was attempting it, but they were aware of some successfully using it with Moonlites.

So short answer is - I believe so, yes. I'd strongly recommend talking to the HiTecAstro guys about it first. There was an issue with the voltage of the controller and my FT focuser, but from memory the MHP controller is the same voltage as Moonlite, so no issues.

Yep, I do it all the time you just plug it in and it works.

really - thats great news. I have the original version with the mini controller. any inisght on connection settings?:D

There were no settings, I just installed the mount hub pro ascom focuser driver, and used that as my focuser in SGP
