I have been waiting patiently for two years for this female to return and worth the wait. She was unpurturbed by me and I left her preening herself as I headed of to work.Only problem is they have decided to build a Koala fence along the road so it will be difficult to get in the bush near the swamp.Mind you I haven,t seen a Koala there for 30years.Pics taken with a 7dMKII 500mm + 1.4 ext.ISO 200 at f5.6.

Excellent captures, I remember those birds well whilst near Darwin, well done indeed.

Nicely done Derek. Got to love the symmetry of a good mirror reflection.
Well done.

Thanks for the comments the Koala fence has excluded me but they have gates with locks.(The battery operated angle grinders are a solid investment).
Now I just have to find out who has the keys.
