Solar Flare Sequence AR2567. 17th July 2016

AR2567 was extremely unstable on the 16th July which prompted another look this morning beginning at 01h15m UT. I imaged every minute until approximately 01h 39m UT when a flare started. Imaging each 30 second has allowed a video to be made. Four images are attached from this video, showing the progression of this flare taken in Hydrogen alpha light.

Impressive images. Can't remember to have seen an amateur capturing the development of a flare before. All this energy released within a couple minutes....
