NGC 6188 Fighting Dragons of Ara

Hi All,

I thought I would post my attempt at NGC 6188 from last weekend. This image is composed from:

25 x 7 minute lights
10 x 7 minute darks
10 x flats frames
10 x bias frames

The equipment used was:

ED120 Black Diamond Refractor
AZEQ6 mount
ST80 Guidescope
Synguider
Canon 600D modded

It's a target that I have been wanting to image for a while and notice that it is normally imaged with narrowband, but I thought I'd give it a go with the SLR. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments, yea I pretty pleased with this. I think this must be one of my favourite nebulas. Ii like the pattern of the nebula as well as all the colourful stars around it.
