Looks like everyone is diving into the Lagoon at the moment. Mines a bit on the pinky side.

Thanks Scott and Mike, always a compromise between stretching the nebula and retaining star colour.
I like yours as well Scott much more detail than mine.

That sparkles! Lovely overall feeling. Nice to see the open cluster twinkling in the water.
Just had another look this morning. Beautiful contrast between the sparkly bits and the dark bits. Too many of us try to show every last photon in the dark bits and end up with a uniform grey piece of paper as a result. Your processing is excellent.

A different look. There is in fact faint blue reflection nebula overlaid on the Ha of the Lagoon. I picked that up with a TEC110 fluorite a few years back. Fluorite lenses often pick up subtleties like that.

Thanks Mike and Trish, I appreciate your generous description. I was a little disappointed about the lack of bright red that you see in other images. I was going to re-process it, but now the more I look at it the more I like it.
Greg thanks for the insight about the reflection nebula that exists in the Lagoon. I will look out for that in the future.
Cheers
