Mirror coating Perth

Hi there, Does anyone know if there is someone in Perth who can coat mirrors, aluminium is fine?
Ive seens some prices around $20 an inch.

As far as I know the only place in Australia is Saintech in the eastern states.

This is one of the reasons I only have refractors. I do have an 8 inch mirror that needs a recoat. Maybe one day. The cost could be around $300 when you factor in the postage both ways.

For smaller mirrors it is less expensive to just buy a new GSO mirror.

Thanks Andy. I didn't think there was but thought I would ask. There is a cheapish 12" i'm thinking of buying but the seller says it will need a re-coat. The pics show some spotting circa 1 cm or so. Have to decide if it is worth the trouble for a re-coat vs new dob anyway.

consider, if the mirror is a custom made not mass produced it will out perform any GSO mirror by a fair amount. You wont know unless you have it tested or if it comes with its original test report.
