Hi,
I am a long time amateur astronomer recently settled in Exmouth, NW Cape, WA where I am now with the Learmonth Solar Observatory working as a solar physicist.
I have a number of solid items of equipment for sale each of which has played a part (big and small) in my adventures in digital astrophotography. Lots of sample images can be seen at my website: www.arafuraskies.com using the equipment which is listed below.
I am parting with these items now mainly to help finance a new direction I wish to take in amateur astronomy. Please feel free to ask any questions about the equipment for sale. I know Exmouth is a long way away from most amateur astronomer's locales but I personally guarantee all my equipment to be in excellent working order and condition.
One key item not for sale is the Deluxe Milburn Wedge.
Thanks for your interest,
Alan

Might have been a better idea to post some of these as separate For Sale items rather than introduce them within an existing For Sale post?

You are probably right - too late now.
I have been having trouble uploading images of the equipment despite their 150kb or less size.
I'm sure the mods can help split them into separate posts?:)

Make sure the images are < 150k jpeg, and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Are you using the "manage attachments" button, and then using "browse" to locate the files on your computer?
If it's still not working it must be firewall settings or something on your end?

It could be firewall settings but even with it turned off both IE and Moxilla Firefox are still unable to upload image files.

I had trouble uploading an image yesterday morning (Saturday). Gave up after two attempts. Have previously posted images before OK.
Incidentally, is this the correct process: Compose a reply to thread ... then go to manage attachments, browse, locate and click 'upload' ... then click 'post reply' (the text message). It looks like the image gets posted first then 'waits around' at IIS for the text part to arrive. Does it matter how long it is between the upload and the posted text?
