Horsey a blend of old and new

Hi all,

Still haven't been out imaging, and being a bit under the weather to be doing anything else too exciting, i decided to blend some dirty old dslr data (35 mins, 70 second subs, extreme gradients) with 1 hr of Ha from the QHY22 i managed to nab when testing out my camera some months back. don't look too close!

Below i've put the new combo, and the old versions for reference.

thanks fellas, nothing too flash but considering the nature of the original dslr colour pic i found it pretty cool to get anywhere near this vibrancy (although ngc 2023 is a bit weird colourwise).

Always good to salvage something from old data, Russ. The reds are nice and the detail on the HH is good. Maybe kill the green a little?

that's true Rick and in the absence of imaging time it's good processing practice. i'll give the green a go it is obviously the most noisy channel (red has Ha blended and the blue has small amount Ha blended in also). i might process 2023 separately and blend it in.
