Hi there.
This is notice of the upcoming sale of this very fine instrument. Note that it is the N version so this is the apochromatic, quadruplet, flourite telescope. The scope is currently at Texas Nautical Repair for cleaning, collimation check and to reset the 4" focusser. Also note that I shall be returning to Australia at the end of the year, whereas the scope right now is obviously here in the U.S.
I plan to sell it with a pair of Parallax rings and a bunch of adapters. I am still thinking about the sale price.
PM me if interested.
regards

Hi again
I have sorted through the accessories I plan on including in the sale of this scope, as follows:
William Optics foam-lined aluminium carry case.
Parallax Rings
Takahashi 1.25" Star Diagonal
Takahashi LE 5mm eyepiece
Takahashi LE 12.5mm eyepiece
Adapters: 2 x Feldstein, Camera Angle Adapter (CAA) to SBIG STX, CAA to Bellepheron, FSQ Drawtube to Optec Gemini, FSQ Drawtube to SBIG AOX, and about 3 other adapters some of which are designed to either fit directly to the FSQ drawtube or CAA.
Custom made bracket to mount a Robofocus motor
Again, I am working on the sale price for this lot and will post it to IIS shortly.
Meanwhile, if anyone has an FSQ106N and is looking for anyone of the above adapters, PM me.
cheers
Martin

Hello all
Scope back from TNR - 4" R&P focusser has been reset, collimation checked (but was not required), optics cleaned. Photos uploaded.
So right now the sale package comprises:
FSQ106N - including the 7x50 standard finder scope.
Original, triple layer shipping box.
Tak Eyepieces - 5mm and 12.5mm (rarely used so in excellent condition - they are matched to the scope)
Parallax Rings
William Optics Aluminium Carry Case.
Please note the cosmetic damage on the dew shield and the OTA.
I also have a few adapters which I can sell on depending on the buyers needs. This includes a Feldstein and a number of custom (Precise Parts) adapters that fit from the drawtube to a camera FW (with the CAA removed) or from the CAA to a camera FW.
As a reminder, the scope is in the USA but if a buyer is in no rush, it will come back with me when I return to AUS in Jan 17.
For sale: $5500 excludes shipping/insurance.
cheers
Martin
